Lillee Jean, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

I have worked on a short drama called Miss Roxie, which has been one of the most meaningful projects of my career to date! Not only was Miss Roxie written by me, with an original storyline, but I also directed, produced, and starred in it as Roxie and Florence. Being able to emote freely and tell the stories I want to see is especially important to me as a young female actress and filmmaker! I find the entire process, from sitting at a cafe thinking about concepts and morals I hold dear, to storyboarding the sequences, to be incredibly rewarding.

Is there a mission driving your creative journey?

As an actress, my goal is to be as captivating as possible on the big screen. Due to my background as a filmmaker, I know how things look, and how the camera can catch every little emotion. I am committed to continuing my training! I have found the Meisner Technique to be very eye-opening and very interesting to learn.
