Lillee Jean is an actress from New York City. Lillee has trained at the T. Schreiber Studio, intensively studying Meisner Technique and dialects. Her latest productions include two short films she directed, produced, and wrote including 'Miss Roxie' (2023), and 'Peony and Violet'. As part of her recent show, 'So Lillo Qui' she released episode 13, Bridal Belles.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth in the past year is simply from delving into acting classes. One important class I took, was Meisner Technique classes! The classes taught me to go beyond a character's surface and to connect with the nature, drawing upon my own experiences. Through regular exercises over the weeks, I was able to hone my craft and even notice an improvement in my writing. The classes over several weeks showed me different ways to exercise myself as an actress, to the point it even improved my writing! I was holding back what was inside of me all along!
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself? As an actress, I feel completely free! It’s so much fun to embark on different characters, which are all variant sides of myself. Recently, I performed a scene from Proof in a Meisner class as Catherine. For several weeks, I enjoyed exploring what motivates Catherine and sparks her originality. Everything I performed came from me, and that always is extremely rewarding. I also am a filmmaker, writer, and producer! I develop my own characters, scripts, and short films such as the most popular one I filmed, Miss Roxie. Miss Roxie was a labor of love, and focused on the main character Roxie Capri! I worked diligently to put myself in the shoes of the character, who was just recently fired from her long-term job.
